As a user of Apple and Macintosh products for over 18 years I can recommend no computer higher for innovation, reliability or performance. From my very first experiences with a computer in elementary school, where I thought that the word for a computer was Apple to today I have seen no better company in this market - EVER. As a company they made popular the mouses that we take for granted, pioneered high speed video graphics, portability with their iMac models, flat panel technology in their iMac, iBook and Powerbook models, music,photo and dvd technology in their portable and desktop computers, mp3 player technology and more with the iPod (and I am just beginning to scratch the surface). If you are using something on a competitor PC and loving it - Apple probably invented it years before. I can't understand how anyone would want to use any other system. For a layperson or the expert Apple is the best and most reliable name in computer technology.
Their computers are not bought, rather invested in. A typical PC will be obsolete in 3 years while a Macintosh computer will last more than twice as long. They are essentially the Mercedes of computers. Why would you want to buy a Yugo when you could have this technology. Their desktop G5 models are the fastest consumer desktops you can buy. Imagine working on a dozen high end graphics programs without a worry. The third generation iMac is so portable and original you can bet the competition is already looking at how outdated their "compact" systems are. So much power in such a small package. Their Powerbook and iBook laptops are in a category of their own. Incredible speed and quality for designing your own iPhoto book, DVD editing in iMovie and setting up music files for your iPod in iTunes. Do I even need to prove to everyone how much iPod is kicking all of the mp3 player competition to the curb? It is no accident they are doing so well in this industry. They wrote the book.

In conclusion, buy an Apple product. You will never be the same. They get our highest rating possible.
